When / Does hunger disappear when fasting?

I currently 'fast' about 14:8 as I finish dinner by 7 and don't normally eat breakfast till about 9 or later. I'm wanting to do some longer fasts - I have a stone to shift before the summer (already lost half a stone) but am ravenous by breakfast time.
I have quite a physical job and like to exercise in the mornings but as this is the norm I don't know if it affects longer hours fasting.

How long for hunger pangs to dissipate? Or does your stomach grumble the whole fasting window?

What food are you typically eating? I found fasting was easier the less sugar I ate and the more fats and proteins.

Does that actually count as fasting? I'm really not an expert but your mainly asleep during that window so just avoiding evening snacking, which I try to do most days anyway.
When I fast I tend to eat between 12noon -6pm.
Any day I do eat breakfast I'm ravenous by lunchtime! The days I fast until lunchtime I don't feel hunger pangs at all until 2pm sometimes!

I fast between 8pm and 12pm and my eating window is 12-8pm.
I’ve been doing it since October and must admit, I am still very hungry most days before my eating window opens! But I just drink water and ignore, it usually passes!
I see it as I sign that my fast is working when I’m super hungry lol

Its not recommended to fast longer than 16 hours really, there isn't much evidence that longer fasts are better.

I often want to eat first thing out of habit really, but I tend to have a glass of water, a herbal tea, a caffeine tea, which I stretch out over two hours, before breaking fast. I'd love to go without the caffeine but that is a work in progress!

I personally find full day fasts easier than 16:8 etc. I find the hunger pangs come and go then but when I am eating more it seems to stimulate my hunger.
