I've got to shift 1/2 a stone in 6 weeks.
I absolutely must!!
I've done it before but finding it much harder this time - everything has slowed down!
800 calories a day and eating 2 meals between 12-8pm.
No booze.
Black coffee and water only!
Please give me your best meals for around 400 calories including meat - I particularly like all white meats!
Thank you!!!!

Clear chicken noodle soup is brilliant.

Boil a pint of water, add a tablespoon of soy and a teaspoon of veg bouillon powder and a slice of lemon or lime. Dice 100g lean chicken breast and add that. Cook for 8 mins.
Chop carrot, red pepper, spring onion, and ginger into julienne strips. Add them with sliced baby corns and 4-6 whole sugar snaps or mange tout with a fine noodle nest. Cook for 4 more minutes. I used to add lemon balm that grew in our old garden which made it taste divine. You coud add a chunk of crushed lemon grass to get the same flavour.

It's very fresh and health tasting but also filling.

Depending on which noodle brand you use, that comes in at about 400 cals.

Laab (made with chicken) served in lettuce leaves. So nice.

Not meaty but very easy and hearty:

Put a bit of water and lemon juice in a pan and steam a bag of baby spinach - just enogh water to stop it sticking before it releases its own liquid. Sprinkle it with a bit of sea salt and garlic granules if you like.

Poach 2 medium eggs in water - no fat.

Lightly toast 2 slices of Warburton's no-sugar wholemeal bread (delicious - 55 cals a slice)

Put the eggs on the toast, sprinkle with a bit of smoky paprika and salt. Spinach on the side.

Total calories 275! (I've added 15 for spices and lemon juice) But feels like lots more. So you can then have a banana or bowl of skyr and blueberries for dessert.

Great minds. I have some chicken and lettuce in the fridge already, and some mint on the windowsill...
