Tim Spector has launched the world's biggest research study of Intermittent Fasting: The Big IF Study.

Why? Because there is only limited research on its use as an intervention.

The study is looking to discover if IF has any impact on mood, energy, hunger, and health symptoms. And they need YOUR help to do it.

It's totally free and doesn't take much time.

The more citizen scientists that are involved, the better the research will be.

Learn more and join the study here.

I’ve been doing this for the past few days. It’s really easy to log your results, I just wish there was a way you could go back and amend for the previous day. Intrigued to see the results.

I started the study yesterday so I'm still on my normal eating window. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. I have tried 5.2 and felt quite irritable on fast days so gave up after a few weeks. In this I can eat normally save for it being a 10 hour window, so I'll see how it makes me feel. I'm keeping my own notes so to make it easier to remember start/finish times - I'm retired so don't get have breakfast at a completely consistent time.
