Need a bit of inspo for an 800 calorie day tomorrow.

I normally reach for a Babybel light. Hits the savoury spot I often crave plus ticks the cheese box!

What are yours?

Watermelon already cut up in a container in the fridge- sweet, cold, juicy.

Rice cakes and rocket ice lollies. Used to hate rice cakes but they do flavoured once’s now-30calories each, so I have 2 in the evening instead of fruit/biscuits/nuts/yogurt. Rocket Lollies are about 40 calories each.I’ve lost 8kg an am determined to keep it off.
Good luck- I don’t think I could manage on 800 calories a day.

No added sugar cranberry juice with loads of ice and sparkling water. About 12 calories for a huge glass that gives you a sweet fix if you want something sweet and quenches thirst.

Bag of radishes. I love crunchy things like crisps - radishes do that job and are a bit hot and tingly too.

MyDcAreMarvel · 20/06/2021 23:04

Frozen grapes.

Cottage cheese. Hard boiled egg. Celery with peanut butter down the middle.

If it's the Fast800 diet some of these are not compatible with the way of eating. High sugar fruits, carby snacks like rice cakes, processed artificially sweetened snacks will make your blood sugar spike and induce cravings.

I try not to snack at all on the F800.
If I have to, it's on high protein foods with some fat. So greek yogurt and strawberries or blueberries, full fat cottage cheese with berries, nuts, cheese, prawns, eggs,
cooked chicken or turkey, olives etc. The occasional square of dark chocolate is ok (min 70% cocoa).

Which brand rice cakes is this? All my flavoured ones are 100+!

Second the ice lolly thin though. Mini twisters are less than 40 calls each!

@myfuckingfreezer it’s a brand called Kallo. Sainsburys keep them.

Little chunks of cucumber in a bowl, sprinkled with lemon juice, salt and shichimi togarashi. It's crunchy, juicy, salty, sour and spicy all at once, and has virtually no calories.

SorryPardonWhat · 21/06/2021 22:41

Nori seaweed. Just eat it by the sheet!

MaudesMum · 22/06/2021 10:23

Small chunks of parmesan - as its the only cheese that I can't eat enormous amounts of. Slices of wafer thin parma ham/proscuitto. I don't snack (never have - its not a diet thing) - but I do find that if I'm doing something like a pilates class or a meeting in the evening and don't want to eat until after that, a small snack is required to get me through...
