I’m looking to start the 5:2, I’ve been searching on here and looking at the recipe ideas etc

But is there any tips to staying on track things you wished you’d known to help?

Don't waste your calories in drinks (have black tea and coffee instead) and try to go as long as possible before eating would be my advice.

Agree - time restricted eating makes it easier, simple porridge with water for lunch, low calorie dinner and I often go to bed early to remove temptation. I find it much easier to do knowing it's only 2 days per week. Good luck - it really works for me.

Eat dinner early, then brush your teeth. Toothpaste kills the appetite very well!
