Hi my daughter, aged 30+has been to jail, she was in an abusive relationship, her partner was dealing drugs, unbeknown to her and when she found out he was controlling her and abusing her. She got a sentence for driving her car with him in it. She lost her whole life, her house, job, car, she is at rock bottom, she is a lovely girl, she's been a nvq assessor in the past, band 3 health care. How does she get back to being in the workplace, she is so depressed. Can anyone offer constructive advice please

Ask admins to move your thread to a different board. I am not sure which one would be most suitable. They may advise you.
To do that report your thread and they will contact you within few hours.

She's unlikely to get back into healthcare with a criminal record. Or any job with vulnerable people.

Could she meet with a careers advisor and see if she's got any transferable skills that could be used in another field?
