Not sure about something 16/8.

Are you able to eat more calories in the 8 hour window and lose weight ,or is it because for 16 hours you consume no calories and so this reduces your total daily intake? Thanks

If you try and cram your usual daily calorie intake into the 8 hour window then you will struggle to lose much weight.

By reducing the eating window you will usually only fit 2 meals in that time so it is a combo or reduced calorie intake as well as getting your body to burn its fat stores.

I’ve only been doing it 2.5 weeks but am already a convert - in that time I’ve lost 5lbs and 1.5 inches off my waist so it’s definitely working!
