I need to lose weight. Quite a bit of weight, I have heart disease and eventually need surgery so I want to be as healthy as possible when that time come. I will add that logically I know valve replacement surgery is the safest it's ever been and thousands of people have it everyday but my my Mum died on the table aged 49 so I have worries. She was quite overweight so i don't want that to be me.
During lockdown I have gotten to point where I am the heaviest I've ever been even when full term with my children.
I started MFP and calorie counting Monday after standing on the scales and realising the enormity of the issue! I'm sticking to 1200 caps white happily, I don't eat breakfast anyway (apart from a tea and coffee) so I find 1200 easy enough.
I was wondering about adding in 5:2 and was wondering if anyone had any success with it? How many cals would I eat on my fasting days and do I still have 1200 the other 5?
