Will pilates stop me looking like a deflated balloon as I lose weight?

I'm getting better and better at Pilates and now losing weight too - 15lbs down and another 5 stone to go. Can anyone credit pilates with proving their shape?

The 'deflated balloon' look is because of your skin rather than muscle tone I think? I lost 3 stone quite rapidly and was left with exactly that look, but unfortunately because of having stretch marks from pregnancy combined with having been overweight, my skin has been left looking very crinkly and crepey on my stomach. Underneath my papery skin I have muscles, but the skin is loose over the top. It has slowly got better through a combination of body brushing and using nourishing moisturisers but it's still there.
The Pilates will tone your muscles but it won't tighten your skin.

Good luck on your weightloss journey! 15lbs is brilliant, well done

weights both up and lower body and use machines at first and don’t be afraid of going heavy , then progress to free weights.
