Hi all

I'm thinking of giving either the Fast 800 or 5:2 diet a go. I really struggle for ideas for meals generally and I am vegetarian so I was thinking of getting a couple of the recipe books - I have seen the fast diet recipe books, the blood sugar diet one, the Fast 800 one - does anyone have any of these? Are there any that you use more than the others?

Thanks!

xx

I have the BSD one and use it quite a lot. I would have a look to see that there are enough vegetarian recipes in it to keep you interested. Otherwise might you be better liking out for a low-Carb vegetarian cookbook? It might have more variety for you. One thing to be aware of is, as others have noted, some of the calorie counts in the recipe books can be a bit off so if it’s a recipe I use a lot I check them myself.

Oh, I thought you were joking. This type of thing is a common joke with those of us who fast.

I recommend googling meals to break a fast.

I have the Fast 800 Recipe book and find it very good.
Loads of choice and good ideas. It's the only one I use.
