Can I just do 16/8 a few days a week

I've been doing the 16/8 three days a week for a few weeks. It works well for me with my commitments, and I seem to have lost a lb or two of weight (I do a fair bit of exercise as well), as it seems to reset my appetite to a bit lower. I think I'd find it hard to sustain every day, just because of social life and other commitments. Maybe I can push the fasting up to four days without too much stress when I get more used to it, but I think any more would be pretty disruptive.

I wouldn't mind being 10lb lighter, but I'm in no hurry. And really, what i'm looking for here is something that just reduces my weight a bit in the long term, is healthier, and is sustainable for me

Does it matter than I don't do it everyday, from the perspective of apparently possibly giving my body the chance to clean itself up a bit?

I would rather do full 24 hours once or twice a week than 16/8 :)

Yeah, maybe I should give that a go. I just want something sustainable - I'm quite a sociable person! Think I'll persist as I am for six weeks, see how I'm going (eg am I getting slimmer/healthier or do I need something more) then think what to do,
