What side effects did you experience from fasting?

I started fasting 18:6 about 7 months ago. Apart from weight loss I noticed a few good and bad side effects. Since everyone is different, I wanted to know if what I experienced is normal and what side effects, positive and negative, you had when you started fasting.

1. I have IBS and my symptoms have dramatically decreased. It's amazing but noone talks about it! It's so effective for me that in times of great stress I reduce my eating window further, to 4 hours or just do OMAD.

2. My hair texture changed and became more frizzy. The individual strands feel bumpy and became thicker. I am not sure if this is age related.

3. If I drink I go from tipsy to really drunk really quickly. I used to be able to drink a bottle of wine and feel merry, now I've given myself a 1 glass limit.

4. Sorry for TMI here but my poops are like clockwork. Once a day at exactly the same time and done in a minute.

So, now I've overshared, what are the side effects you've experienced from fasting?

Thigh cellulite is ALL gone. Within a week of starting Fast800. Amazing.

I feel grumpy in the morning because I want breakfast! Only on second week of 16:8 though.

I second the clockwork poops, getting drunk fast and frizzy hair.

On a positive note you’ll be cheap at the pub!
I’ve been getting the frizzy hairs but before I started fasting, so it may just be age related.

Headaches on some fast days. I'm quite headachy anyway and drink lots of water but still can't get rid of them.

On a more positive note, the arthritis pain is my big toe joint, that I've had for years, is a lot better with hardly any pain now.

Headache and dizziness but that's partly due to lack of water so my next fast I am going to hydrate myself and have 250 cal for lunch and 250 cal for dinner.
