Want to do BSD but what do I use instead of nuts?

I'm really interested in giving the BSD a go but so many of the recipes I've seen include nuts. I'm allergic to Brazil nuts, Walnuts and Hazlenuts so anything with them in is out. I can do peanuts but I'm likely to just shovel them in! Can anyone offer a suitable alternative to nuts? It all seems really complicated to make sure the calorie and carb levels are right and I don't want to get it all wrong.

As long as you're eating 800 calories a day that's what matters. Plenty of people exclude nuts from BSD completely.

Oh and I forgot to add, it's really not complicated - no pasta, no bread, no rice, no sugar, no potatoes. Follow those rules and the carb counting looks after itself.

Just eat 800 cals worth of complaint food that you do like. I don't use any specific BSD recipes really.
