Hi all, I have done the 5:2 before and lost weight successfully but annoyingly I quit after a while . I want to start it again as it was useful for many reasons. I'm 17 st 12 and should be around 12 for healthy BMI so have huge journey but just looking for tips. What do you eat on a fast day ? Does having 5 snacks of around 100 cals work better ?

I think the advice now is to up your calories on fasting days. Have you actually calculated how many calories you need to stay your current weight and then use that number to come up with calories for fasting days?
It is calories but also what you eat over all, so changing what you eat in general as in swapping white rice for brown rice would make huge differenco to how you experience hunger.
