Weight loss stalled on OMAD diet

I've been on the OMAD (one meal a day) diet for just over a month & lost 15lbs. Happy with that but recently the weight seems to be coming off so. Bloody. Slowly. I still have at least a stone to lose before holiday in June. Is it normal to lose less now or should I be lowering my calorie/fat intake for that one meal?? Thanks!

How much are you loosing a day ?
Also what's your weight and height?
Do you have any medical conditions or health issues ?
Sorry lastly are you on medication ?

I can then try and see why you are not loosing

I'm 5ft3 weigh 155lbs 26 years old, losing around 1-2lb per week. I have pcos but hasn't effected my weight loss in the past & no medication

Sometimes it helps to vary your calories a bit having a high day then a low day. Maybe have a few days of eating more then a few stricter days.

Ilovemybaby91 · 03/03/2018 10:04

THat would make sense actually short because it seems that the stricter I've been recently the less I'm losing...

I'm still breastfeeding could this be a factor? I read some where you 'store fat' for breast milk..

I don't think that is a problem for most women as many people lose weight while breastfeeding. But if you try to be too strict you might start having problems. I'm sure if you try to be very strict while feeding your body will naturally try to maintain the stores it needs to produce milk in any way possible. Aim to lose weight slow and steady and make sure you are getting all the nutrition and calories you need for making the milk.

Based on my experience and the experience of lots of breastfeeding women I know that the losing weight is a bit of a myth really so that could be impeding your loss.

Didn’t lose any weight until I weaned my son down to a feed a day when he was 1. Then I lost weight. Until then impossible
