Actually i have just found the basics in the bad thread! Wonder how easy it will be to stick to the 800 cals. I have never counted calories but generally avoid too many carbs and eat very little processed stuff. Maybe i could gently work towards it!

Any tips to get started?

The absolute basics:

800 calories a day
No pasta, rice, potatoes, grains or sugar
High fat is good, eg cheese, full fat dairy, avocado, oily fish, meat.
'Above ground' veg is good
Limit fruit to small amounts of berries, Apple, pear - no tropical, bananas, grapes or oranges.
Moderate exercise but don't overdo it.
Massively limit alcohol, red wine is ok. Beer is 'toast in a glass'- avoid!

Do this for 8 weeks!
