4th fast day today and I've really struggled.

Not just physically (tired and weak feeling) but mentally.

I've felt sad and teary, I've been grumpy with the kids (I have three!).

The diet demons have been whispering in my ear - 'You can't sustain this, just be happy with the size you are, you are a bad mum if you are grumpy etc.'

My first three fast days went great but I am doing Monday and Wednesday, so maybe Monday and Thursday would be better?

I want this to be a lifestyle change not just a diet. I am 5 ft 4 and 12 stone so I do need to lose but I'd like to use fasting to control my weight going forward. I think it should suit my metabolism (slow as hell) and apple shape and PCOS.

Pop over here petal and someone can help you.
It's probably hard with little ones.
I'm OK as I'm home alone all day but I understand the fridge whispers.

I do get snappy by the end of the fast day just before I eat...I recognise it now and I really try to avoid biting my kids' heads off! But I do get grumpy....I am extra nice to them after I have eaten..... Grin
