Does this sound right? Calorie allowance on non fasting day.

Hi, I'm new to this diet And I'm planning to start tomorrow with a fasting day.
I've typed in all my details to see how many calories I can have on non fasting days and it says I can have 2235. This seems like a lot so I thought I'd check on here.

I'm 36, 5ft 5ins tall and weigh 14st 10lbs. I plan to do light exercise (to begin with).

Does this seem right? Thanks

Hi, Nancy
Yes that's correct. 2235 cals are what your body needs to maintain on NFDs.
You obtain the deficit, of over 3400 calories per week in your case, entirely from the 2 FDs.
You may lose a bit more the first 2 weeks, but you should settle down at about 1-1.5 lb per week.

See how you go.
If you find anytime that you need to speed things up, you can calculate the TDEE for you goal weight. This also trains you how to eat for maintenance later.

Thank you for your reply, that is a great help. Today is day 1 of fasting. I know I'll be fine until about 4pm. But I think it will help that I can eat properly tomorrow! :)
