Fasting / 5:2 diet

Talk about intermittent fasting and 5:2, including what’s worked for others. Mumsnet hasn't checked the qualifications of anyone posting here. You may wish to speak to a medical professional before starting any diet.

Interested in this WOL but have stubborn 7lb to lose

I started 5:2 last year and got on with it really well.
Strangely, mentally I felt loads better much less foggy.

Unfortunately I became quite poorly and had to stop for a while.

Now I am back and ready to go again...I've put on about half a stone and want to lose it ASAP.

Will 5:2 help with this? I'll start again regardless but do really want these pounds gone!

I am in a similar situation, been trying to lose the last 7lbs for A YEAR! I have got within the last few but then end up putting on during holidays when I relax, eat bread, drink too much etc! I have now actually managed to put on a few extras so ideally would like to lose 9lbs. Am happy to support you. Lots of advice on the friendly main thread. Which days are you planning on fasting?
