Reassurance / Motivation

I briefly tried fasting last year but with a toddler and new baby I didn't last long. I've recently lost around 1 1/2 stone with Slimming World but have gone off track and in danger of gaining it all back again.

So, have found myself back here and just wanted to check in to for a bit of reassurance and motivation. I am 5ft 3inches and currently weigh 12stone 8 pounds. If I use the following and stick to it for a month am I really likely to see a difference in my weight?

TDDE 1743 (have rounded up for ease in the first month)

Monday = 500 calories
Tuesday = 1569 (1600)
Wednesday = 1569 (1600)
Thursday = 500 calories
Friday = 1743 (1800)
Saturday = ask no questions
Sunday = 1569 (1600)

During Slimming World I would weigh myself a various points during the day which I know is pointless. I plan to start tomorrow and am really going to trying not weigh myself until 4 weeks later.

Sorry, not really sure of the point of this post but guess I just want to check that it will work...and by writing it down I'm helping myself commit to doing it!

Grateful for any advice or tips. I have read all the existing threads and really inspired by all the losses, really want it to work for me this time.

Thank you

Looks good chicaboo - do come and join us on the main threads too, the faster pace can help with the motivation and there's usually someone around when you need it - especially on a fast day! Smile

I'll be joining you - as will many many others - for a Thursday fast - first one in a week thanks to the Easter festivities.

Great plan to put the scales away. Do get the tape measure out and take some selfies too - in a month you'll be glad you did even if it feels horrible now.
