Hello fellow dieters

I've been on the 5 2 diet for about 2 months now.

I've lost well over a stone. Today I went clothes shopping with gift vouchers I got for my birthday.

First stop bravissimo. I've gone from a 32 jj to a 30 J. Happiness! So I purchased a pretty new bra and felt like a new woman.

Next I went to Oliver bonas. Bought a beautiful dress in a size 14 (used to be a 16). Then new look where I bought some of those collot type trouser thingys. Never thought they would suit me but with the weight loss I feel so good I thought fuck it.

Stepped out of new look to find a tenner on the pavement!

Happy days.

Sorry for the incredibly self indulgent and slightly smug post. Had to share my joy. Hope you are all reaping the benefits of this diet too.

But I would have to put the £10 in a charity box or karma would be calling.

Wow! How long have you been doing it? You've done brilliantly

A year last January. Not really strict but fairly consistent.

A word of warning charlietango - those lovely new clothes will be too big soon... Grin

exit Epic loss! Any chance you'd post your story on the inspirational thread?

Darkhorsefor1 · 16/04/2014 13:43

exit I remember your name from the earlier threads, good to know you're still 5:2 ing, and its bagged you a 5stone loss to boot. I think the not too strict but consistent approach is key.

Agree about the tenner and charity.

Great thread charlietango. I was curious about someone not liking shopping because I thought you meant food shopping! Yes, clothes shopping is better when stuff not just fits but actually flatters.
