Does MyFitnessPal automatically reduce my TDEE after I log a weight loss? I'm not great with numbers, but it looks like my TDEE is the same, despite losing 6lb since I started using the app. TIA.

No, you have to change your goals.

Just went into 'goals' and no matter what I change my weight to, my cals are the same.

I have no idea what my TDEE is!

If I change from maintaining to losing 1lb/1.5lb/2lb my cals go down, but that's still not giving me my TDEE for my current weight Confused.

IF anyone's interested, I found this calculator on the 5:2 website, which seems to be a lot more accurate than MFP.

Your TDEE is the same as maintenance. It's how many calories you use up each day (Total Daily Energy Expenditure). You will of course actually use up a different amount every day, so it's only an approximation.
