Hi, I haven't really dieted properly before but having had 3 babies (youngest now nearly 3!), I'm still holding onto a lot of fat. I've attempted to start diets but I've never had the willpower to get beyond the first week Blush. So I probably need to lose at least 1 stone, more importantly I need to tone up a lot.

I'm thinking of doing the 5:2, so as I understand it I eat max 500 calories on 2 days a week. So on the other days should I be eating say 1200 calories a day whilst aiming to lose weight? or should that be higher due to the fasting days?

Also I'm going to start running again, 4 days a week. And I'm hoping to start the 30DS in the NY once the running's underway...on fasting days should I avoid these exercises?

I would be grateful for any feedback, thank you!

Hi there!

First thing you should do, is read the "Welcome, read this first" thread in this section ;-)

500 on your fast days, your maintenace/ TDEE cals ont eh other 5 days - that's likely to be a bit more than 1200.

Running and 30DS are fine on fast days, but everyone is different, see how you go.
