Yes, I saw someone on Facebook had mentioned this. I have a number of concerns.

  1. What would an app do for you? (I might get it anyway just to see - I'm genuinely curious)
  2. It appears to calculate your TDEE, take 25% of that, and tell you that's what to eat on a FD. This ignores the large amount of estimating and approximating that's going on in calculating TDEE, applying a rough 1/4, or even measuring food. It implies a level of spurious accuracy that just isn't possible.
  3. It claims "Fab in 4 weeks". Which just does not tally with my and other people's experiences of 5:2 - it's NOT quick, it ISN'T all done with in 4 weeks, and this raises expectations unrealistically. Leading to people being disheartened when after 4 weeks they havent lost much weight, and they give up.

You don't need an app.

I still haven't had an answer to what it might do for you.

You DO need a way of counting calories, but there's plenty of resources for that. MyFitnessPal is a good website for calorie counts. Have a look at the "Read This First" thread in this section to get started.
