Fasting / 5:2 diet

Talk about intermittent fasting and 5:2, including what’s worked for others. Mumsnet hasn't checked the qualifications of anyone posting here. You may wish to speak to a medical professional before starting any diet.

I'd like to give this a go and just wondered how people get on with this and what kind of results they get?

Just to add that I started properly today and can't believe how easy it is.
I've been not eating after an early dinner at 6/7 since Monday but have had a breakfast early the next day. I've tried to stick to a healthy eating plan but have found it difficult.

Today, I didn't eat til 11 (yoghurt and blueberries) and have not struggled at all today. I had an m&s wrap with prawns for lunch at 3 and will have dinner at 6.
I hope I carry on finding it as easy as this!

Any tips, results or tales welcome :)

I did my second one today!
I did really struggle yesterday evening but managed to stay strong.
I'm finding it hard to sleep though but am hoping to get used to it.
I waited til 11 to have breakfast and had some yoghurt with blueberries again and I feel fine with that. I'm not feeling any temptation to eat anything else yet as I genuinely don't feel hungry.

This is the first time that I feel like I've found a 'easy' way to lose weight (fingers crossed!)

(I realise I'm mainly talking to myself but its helping to keep me going :))

Well, as usual, the weekend was a bit of a fail but I managed to be very active.
Lots of long walks and a roller skating lesson.

Will try to do 18/6 tomorrow
