TTC - 38 day cycle and still negative

Hi all, I’m 37 years old TTC my first child and it’s been a year now. I’ve got low AMH 0.7 and high FSH 15.9 so my chances are not great and I’ve been turned away from several IVF Clinics. However, one in London is taking us on but I need to start the monitoring and for that I need my period. Now oddly in this cycle I still haven’t come on my period. My cycles are usually 19-25 days and I’m currently on day 38. I’ve taken tests everyday the past week and all negative but still no period so I’m really confused. Has anyone been in the same position? Could I be pregnant and it just isn’t showing on the tests?

I am hopeful but also so deflated. TTC

No, you'd expect a very strong positive by now if you were pregnant. Given your FSH is that high meaning your body is having to work very hard to try and develop eggs without much response it sounds more likely you haven't ovulated this month x

That’s why I thought too but I still haven’t come on my period and it’s cycle day 39 now.

I usually have periods every 19 days or 25 max so it’s very odd.

I’ve booked a private blood test for Monday and scan to double check and see what’s happening.

i am still hopeful in some ways as I know a few women that have had false negatives and been pregnant so I’m hoping I’m one of those but I’m also aware it may not be the case.
