My husband and I are solid and we survived toddler twins during lockdown, they are now 8 years old. We’ve both managed to get promotions and our jobs are as solid. I’ve been thinking about another for a while. Are we crazy? I don’t feel it’s hormones because I’ve had this feeling for around 2 years (toxic job situation made it difficult). I would love a big family but I’m scared to ruin what we have.

Doesn't sound unreasonable or impulsive! 8 years is a nice gap - less rivalry over your time/same toys and by the time your baby goes to school the twins would be at high school. So more independent than they are now.

I’m 8 weeks PP with baby number two, we already have DD7 and I’m 42.

It doesn’t sound unreasonable at all ☺️

DD has adjusted better than I thought she would, just keeping an eye and making sure she doesn’t feel too left out etc.

We are tired and to be honest I wish I’d made more of an effort to improve my fitness a bit but any difficulties I had were not due to my age. I don’t have any regrets, I’m very happy our family is complete now x
