Preparation for Frozen Embryo Transfer

Hi everyone, I'm new here but just thought I'd make a post introducing myself and see if any of you have any experience or advice for my Frozen Embryo Transfer.

I'm 35 and going to be a solo Mum. I'm using an egg donor as well as a sperm donor because I have low egg reserve for my age and decided this was the best option for me. I now have seven day five Blastocyst embryos frozen and they're all excellent grading which is wonderful.

I'm now struggling with the hesistancy before my preparation and just wanted to see if anyone else has been through this and how do you actually know when you're ready to proceed? It will be a medicated cycle so it will involve a few weeks preparation before the actual transfer but I haven't found the courage to actually hand in my prescription for my medication yet.

I just don't know if I'll ever feel completely ready. Is that even possible?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Lauren x

Have you thought about when you'd like your baby born? That might help. 😊

It really doesn't bother me when he/she would be born but I have an idea that being newly pregnant in the Spring would be nice for some reason 😄

I have a Christmas season baby and it's fine. 🩷
