Chemical pregnancy - now what?

I had a chemical pregnancy and bled 2 days after my period due date. I have a very regular cycle. I counted day 1 from the day I bled. I am now cycle day 13, should be ovulating tomorrow but my LH has went from 0.15 to 0.28 and I’m just worried I’m not going to ovulate. My anxiety is through the roof and I just want to cry :( can anyone help me? Has anyone been through this and ovulated later. I just need to know if this is normal or not.

Don’t give up hope. A chemical pregnancy is at the very least a positive sign that you can get pregnant.

Everyone's experience is different but after three years of trying I had a chemical pregnancy and then fell pregnant the very next month.

I remember being in the midst of all that anxiety and I hope it all comes together for you soon.

Yes, there’s every possibility that the CP has thrown your subsequent cycle by a day or two. Just don’t panic, keep on DTD and keep with the OPKs (and temping if you do that). Cycles can do weird things at the best of times. This TTC journey (I’m currently nearly 39 weeks pregnant!) my cycles were generally fairly stable, but I still had some when I ovulated around CD11 and once as late as CD20. I had an early MC at 6 weeks back in March. The following cycle was 30 days, but I didn’t catch ovulation either through OPK or BBT; the cycle after that was seriously weird - 18 days long with a positive OPK on CD6 (!!) - but in May I actually fell pregnant again and here I am!

Good luck! A CP feels horrible for the false hope it gives but it isn’t a harbinger of doom Flowers

@curliegirlie @Psithurism thank you! I took another LH today and is 0.53 now so it is starting to rise! Please hope it will continue to go up so we’re going to BD tonight and tomorrow and hope for the best!

I’ve had CP and MC, please don’t worry you’ll become pregnant, it may take time but you will. Glad your LH is rising, remember to have regular sex for a good week around ovulation. It’ll sound mad but I was TTC for years and the months I had successful pregnancy I was distracted with Christmas first time and a new job the second time…. But getting distractions is easier said than done! Good luck

@chunkyBoo @curliegirlie @Psithurism so my LH peaked at 0.8 so we BDd last night (day of the peak) and tonight. And we done it 2 days before that as well so 3 times. Hopefully should be enough! I conceived last month by just doing it on peak day! Fingers crossed 🤞
