Did I ovulate?

Hi!

I had my nexplanon removed on 7th November. I had EWCM the day after and a tiny bit of spotting for a couple hours which I only noticed when I wiped. I had intermittent cramping the following week.

On 14 November my OPK was the darkest it had been. I use Premom to log the progression but don’t take much notice of the ratio as it changes depending on lighting!

My OPKs seemed to get darker up until the 14 November where it was nearly as dark as the test line. A few hours after this one, I had an intense cramping in my left side that seemed to go to my bum too. The OPKs then got lighter and lighter and now there is barely any line.

Im assuming that this was me ovulating for the first time after my nexplanon was removed and that’s why it was more painful than usual as I usually feel slight twinges when I ovulate anyway. I’ve had constant cramps and twinges since and my CM has changed to what it was usually like after ovulation.

I’m just looking for opinions on whether you think I did ovulate as if I did, then I’m in the TWW! Trying for our second!

I'd say not. None of those test strips are close to a peak, so I'd say your body is just settling down at the moment.

The test on 14/11 at 4:07pm was as dark as the test line, I just don’t think the picture shows it as well

You need to wait for the dye to finish moving before taking the pic - there's still a lot of dye run on that one so it's very hard to tell what the final result is. The app is very good at getting the right ratio, you just need to wait for the background to go white before taking the pic.

They say not to read the results after 10 mins and a lot of my tests were still like that and don’t have a white background by that point. Thank you, I will keep it in mind for any other tests!

Are you weeing on them or dipping them in a pot of urine? I found dipping much better. Good luck!

I was dipping them! Wouldn’t trust myself to try and wee on it 😂I’m still holding out hope that I have ovulated but obviously I will never know for sure until AF shows up!

I did just go and have a look at that OPK again and the background is white and both lines are the same, although they have both obviously faded since it was a few days ago and the results will be invalid now!

Everything crossed for you!! Hopefully you did and that you've caught and you can stop testing and enjoy the misery that is pregnancy 😂 xx

Thank you, I hope so! Although my first pregnancy was great so I know the next one could only be worse 😂xx
