Desogestrel,bleeding does it get better?

So I started a new relationship around 6 months ago and have been on the mini pill desogestrel (made by Cresent) for the last 3 months.
Month 1 I had a light period which was great
Month 2 my period was longer with mostly brown discharge
But now on month 3 I've been on a constant period for the last month that varies between brown discharge and light to regular bleeding that sometimes has clots.
In the start,still, of a new relationship this is the last thing I want. I'm praying it will settle down!

What are others experiences?

No answers for you but going through the same thing . Started desogestrel for a month but had to quit after a month to see if it was the cause of some GI issues (it wasnt; turned out to be the iron pills i was also taking). That month had one period followed by a withdrawal bleed for a week. Then restarted desogestrel on the first day of next period and have been bleeding ever since and I'm so over it. I am on this pill to reduce bleeding as i am iron deficient so will probably need to stop and try something else. Have been bleeding for over a month now.... mostly a full on period with some spotting in between.

Thanks for replying, I hope you find something that works for you soon. I'm going to contact my local sexual health clinic,as hopefully it'll be easier talking to someone there instead of getting to speak to a doctor 🙄
