I have had nexplanon implant for almost 2 years. First year has been good, barely had any periods, everything seemed fine. Past few months I've experienced heavy bleeding even more than once a month. More concerning is the fact that I've been bruising randomly on my legs and thighs, which was unusual. I made an appointment with the doctor and they said could be spontaneous bruising but need to wait for blood results to confirm the cause of it. I wonder if this could be related considering that the implant might increase risk of blood clotting. Has anyone experienced this while on Nexplanon?
