3 children - yes or no?!

Hi all,

Looking for those of you who have had 3 to give me real life experiences. I have two wonderful boys (2 and 4) and cannot get having a 3rd out of my head but life is starting to get easy and 2 is so much more practical than 3.

Do I go for it? Does anybody 'regret' it (look back and compare)? Please give me full, honest experiences. My husband is fully on board for either option. We love holidays - how will we be impacted? Just any advice is really appreciated as if we go for it, it's in yh next couple of months.

Thanks so much

When I had three, the family felt unbalanced, had a fourth and it felt much better!

Not sure that helps you!

I have 3.

I love DS 3 deeply. Our family is complete with him in a way it wasn’t before…

…and if I knew then what I know now I would have stopped at 2.

(or like @ninjahamster had a 4th, but I wasn’t going to risk rolling that dice!).

Agree with previous poster. I have three, wouldn't change it now but if is had known the plague was around the corner would have stopped at 2. Homeschooling three through a pandemic was a nightmare. And the world feels set up for families if four. It's now two hotel rooms, family ticket plus an extra child etc etc. if I had my time again I would stop at 2.
