Hello everyone, I just turned 28 recently and I am slowly feeling like I am running out of time. I have a very stable job and income. I am doing great careerwise, but I feel like I am lacking in the personal department I want to create a family of my own some time and I’m wondering whether it is too late already. Is it considered normal to be 28 at single? I feel like everyone is somehow coupled up or already married in my age group.

London? Hell yes

but from what I gather… up north more “normal” to be settled down by mid twenties

You are OK. Though I have been married twice by the time I was your age and had a child, I have not met The One until I was 29. You have plenty of time to get here without making a mess of your life in the meantime…

I was 27 and terminally single… that was 20 years ago. People married younger in my day . Then I met the one. I have a lovely husband and two boys now.
You have plenty of time to find the one.

There’s no normal anymore. I can think of an endless amount of people who are single in their 30s and 40s.
