Low sperm morphology

Hi all

Just looking for hope. So we have been TTC for 22 months for baby number 2. We have had tests done I've had a ultrasound and everything looks fine. Egg reserves are good. My husband sperm analysis was all normal bar his sperm morphology was 3% ( I think normal is 4%) but the doctor basically said we should try for another 6 months and come back for treatment as there is no significant reason that we aren't getting pregnant.

Is anyone else had anything similar. And how long did you take to conceive ?

Thanks

We had this. It varied between 1% and 3% every time we checked. I would get pregnant eventually but miscarry. Doctors didn’t seem concerned. Research indicated low morphology can contribute to miscarriages. After 2 years of no successful pregnancies, we went the IVF route and had DD 10.5 months ago. Roughly 3 months after she was born, I got randomly pregnant with another daughter and am currently 7 months. Only issue was morphology for us, so it can really vary.

Thank you for your reply. So sorry about your miscarriages. I didnt know that. I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy then 6 months later fell pregnant with my daughter. Then 6 months after she was born I fell pregnant but that didn't work out either unfortunately. But i haven't been pregnant since then 😕
