Hi all, I’m just wondering if anybody has had a similar experience or has any advice. I have a court hearing soon as my babies dad is taking me to court. He has completely denied even having a son. He was at the birth and then disappeared and now my son is 10 months old. He has told everybody that he’s not the dad despite looking indentical to our LO. I didn’t put him on the birth certificate for that reason and because he insisted that our son stayed at his house part time even when he was a newborn. He still lives at home and his brother is a well-known drug dealer and the dad also has a drug problem. I’ve never stopped him from seeing his baby if anything I tried I’ve and over again. He is now doing a dna test which I’m fine with. What I’m not happy about is him going to the courts and saying so many lies about me even after I’ve been looking after his baby on my own for 10 months!! I don’t have a problem with him having supervised visits but that’s it until they build a relationship. Has anybody experienced anything similar?

You need to get yourself and your child as far away from this man and his relatives asap.
Ask MN to move your thread to Lone / single parents where you will get support and advice.
