If you had a 5/6 year age gap between kids, how was it? What did it look like.. My son is an only child atm.

We have a five year age gap. They get on like a house on fire, always have! I think it can be tough going back to baby years when you’ve come through them but we always wanted two and it just took longer the second time. Also it was nice because the older one was at school, so we got to do all the baby groups stuff again with DC2, which I think can be tricky with a smaller age gap.

6.5 years here and it's fine. There are pros and cons to all age gaps.
It was lovely when child2 was newborn as child1 at school - so got the 1-1 time and also the school run gets you out the house.
We found it easy going back to nappies etc.
They do lead separate lives but get on and never argue.
