Weight gain on contraceptive?

Hi everyone,

just wanted to ask if anyone is having any issues with the contraceptive pill? I was on the mini-pill for a couple of years and now on zaletta for a year.

I am suffering really badly with bloating and all of a sudden weight gain. I’m 39 and I’ve always been a size 8 and within a year I’ve gone up to a size 12.

just wondering if anyone else has suffered these symptoms whilst being on the pill.

i also wonder if there’s a possibility I may be pre-menopausal. The doctors checked my bloods about a year ago and said all
my levels were fine. - but if I am honest I do wonder if you can be pre-menopausal before for a while before it shows up on a blood test.
