Bleeding on progesterone (long term)

I’ve been on a progesterone-only pill for a couple of years to prevent periods as the hormonal changes cause me to have palpitations/ectopic heartbeats.

Last month I had 5 days of bleeding, and today I’m bleeding again 🤷🏻‍♀️ I haven’t had any breakthrough bleeding since I began taking the pill.

Has anyone else experienced this? According to the ‘instructions’ this is something that can happen in the early days but not a couple of years on.

Not sure whether this is a ‘ignore’ thing or a GP thing.
