I’ve had an IUD for about 9 months and settled into a pattern of having a light bleed every 4 weeks, around 3 days and mild cramping with it. I had been told that I may stop having periods altogether so when I didn’t have one in March I thought great it’s all stopped.
I got a bleed on Wednesday with the worst stomach cramps, it was mostly brown stringy (sorry TMI). The stomach cramps haven’t abated. I’ve woken up this morning feeling nauseous and my tummy is ridiculously swollen.
I checked my IUD strings this morning, can only feel 1 and it feels longer.
could anyone share experience of IUD moving? I’m worried about pregnancy.
It was painful when inserted and dr has written on my notes that insertion was “difficult”.
