Mini pill!

Recently I started to take the mini pill. I'm a week in atm, it's halted my period for now (started the pill a day before I was due) which is great as I struggle with heavy periods and I'm extremely low on iron atm. However it's sent me horrendously moody. I'm fairly okay one minute the next I'm extremely grumpy and snappy or I'm down.
All I've seen so far are posts and stories about women who have taken the pill and been miserable for years.im wondering if there's anyone out there who has had the moody side effects but where it has improved over time whilst remaining on the mini pill? I can't work out if I should ride this out and see if it passes or to stop. Me and my partner are already falling out a little because of how grumpy it's making me and I don't want it to get any worse, I've got two girls to look after I can't be down in the dumps constantly.
Combined contraceptives aren't an option due to medical reasons so was hoping this pill would be the answer but I'm struggling.
