Desogestrel mini pill - anxiety & panic attacks

Hello. I have been on the mini pill since I was 17. Came off it at 23 because my anxiety was awful. I had a year break and went back on it because I moved in with my boyfriend. Been back on it for about 10 months but now my panic attacks are very random and awful. I’m debating coming off it again. I’m 26 so thinking to come off it and get in tune with my cycle. Has anybody had experiences with anxiety and panic attack on this pill?

I have been taking desogestrel for about 3 weeks and yesterday I woke up really jittery and set off to work I went to get out the car and had a massive panic attack from no where ...have felt jittery and horrible since like it could happen again any minute...which led me to looking it up this morning and finding lots of posts like this one saying the same ....safe to say I won't be taking one more if these ....I was originally prescribed them to help with with heavy periods due to adenomyosis....but I'd rather have the heavy periods and pain than feel like this ever again

this is exactly how I felt! It must be a hold up of the hormones in the mini pill. I’ve been off it about 5 weeks now and feel so much better
