Missed Depo Injection

I have just remembered that I should have had my latest Depo injection yesterday. I got so busy and didn’t see my notification on my phone. I’ve completed one of the online calculators and it says that I should get an injection by 25.12.2023. I obviously can’t get hold of my doctor or know when they reopen and possibly can’t get an appointment straight away. What can I do or what is the process now?

You have up to 14 weeks since your last injection.
Phone them up next week when they open and explain circumstances.

You will need to use condoms after the 25th. Or you could go to a pharmacy tomorrow and buy a progestogen only pill to tide you over until you can get a depo.
I work in a Sexual Health clinic and we are open next week so you may find one near you that is open if you can't get into your GP surgery.

My last injection was 28.09.2023 so that should be okay? Should I take other precautions just in case. Sorry this hasn’t happened before so just want to be sure
