Just need some advice please, I had unprotected sex on day 17 of my cycle. I'm very irregular with sometimes long and sometimes short cycles. I have no idea if I've ovulated/ near ovulation. I'm also undecided if I want children though I'm in a committed relationship. Getting pregnant isn't the worst thing but I don't think right now is right. For context I'm close to 40 and feeling a little embarrassed to be in this position. I'm overweight so the MAP might not be effective for me and the coil is quite a commitment when I may (or may not) want children. Not sure what to do and feel nervous to ring my GP or sexual health clinic at my age!
