Do you test when on implant

Dd on implant for years now. Has irregular bleeding, and was the same before the implant, but just wondering if you need to do regular pregnancy tests. Does anyone do this just in case?

I don’t know but remember ds’s girlfriend was on the pill and she didn’t have a monthly bleed, so she used to to a test every now and then. That’s what ds told me after I noticed a box in his bin.
