Does anyone know if the recurrent miscarriage clinic with the nhs provides hycosy testing or is it only the fertility clinic at nhs that offers it. Thanks

Hi, I realise this is a bit late, but no you will not be offered a hycosy for recurrent miscarriages on the NHS and shouldn't be privately either (I would be concerned they are doing unnecessary tests if they do). The test is to see if your tubes are blocked or not and if you have successfully conceived prior to miscarriage that means the tubes are working fine :)

If you have not conceived for 1 year or longer of regular unprotected intercourse, then you would be offered a hycosy or HSG or laparoscopy and dye test as it is part of the fertility work up to check the tubes.

Hope that helps and sorry for your losses.
