Mirena Coil - Bleeding

Hey! So I'm on my second Mirena coil. First one no issues. I'm 10 months into my new one and had been getting a very light bleed/period. Well on Thursday the heavens opened. Clots the lot. I am phoning this morning about an appointment... anyone else had this? It did slow down on day two but picked up again. Health anxiety sufferer so thinking all sorts.

I had a lot of bleeding and a scan showed that it had dropped lower in my womb, so wasn’t working properly. Really, don’t worry, I’d guess that you’ll be sent for a scan and probably under the two week rule as it’s unexplained.
How old are you ? Peri menopause can cause bleeding/clots.

@Mrsworried1 do you bleed heavy? The Dr I spoke to wasn't overly concerned but she's going to examine me on Monday to check.

No just lightly but it has no pattern and goes in weeks at a time. Haven’t gone longer than two weeks without a bleed xxx
