Side effect after IuD removed

I'm looking to TTC so I got my IUD removed. Mirena coil.

Since having it removed I've been bleeding with no sign of slowing down. It's not heavy for me. No filling up pads within a few hours ect. Though I am worried it's never ever going to stop. I've also been passing clots.

Is this normal?

I don't really want to go to my GP unless I really have to.
Their go to is just to say come back in a week if it continues and make me feel like I'm a time waster.

Bleeding after removal is not uncommon if you Google but you haven't told us how long for, OP!

I think for me it was 2-3 days.

Sorry I thought I had. I've been bleeding since the 9th September. So as of today it's 8 days.

If you're worried go to the GP. Where else are you going to go if you don't want to go there? And don't let them talk you out of an appointment if it's been 8 days.

I'm reading this as a snappy response to someone who's just seeking advise and doesn't trust doctors due to past substandard health care.

Are you trying to make me upset and embarrassed or are you trying to be nice?

Because you are obviously worried enough to post on here but you then say you don't want to go through the GP.
I'm trying to help because you should be seen. Clots are not normal and something may be wrong.
