Cerazette taking effect

I mentioned in the withdrawal thread that we've used it fine for a few years but due to issues with my periods, I'm going on the pill, plus we'd like a bit more sexual freedom and not having to rely on withdrawal.

Anyway, I've got Cerazette and started taking about a week into my cycle (5 days ago), the leaflet tells you to use extra protection for 7 days but anything I can find online says you are protected after only 2 days, no mention of 7 days anywhere. Anyone got any idea, has guidance been updated since the printing of the leaflets? We're both getting super keen to get going
