Depo bleeding HELP

I got the depo on 13th April and I had a light bleed in may when my period would have been due but spotted on and off since till last Monday when I started bleeding very heavily with extremely large clots and it's really worry me now 🙁 I've got an appointment at my drs surgery tomorrow but I'm just wondering if anyone else had experienced this on the depo injection? I have previously had it for a number of years which stopped my periods altogether. I took a break for a couple of years so I'm thinking is my body just not agreeing with it this time or is it something more serious...

No advice, but I could have written your post. Had depo for 3 years before DC and had no periods at all. Been back on it since January and lots of break through bleeds, some very heavy and random.

It's awful isn't it! I'll see what the doctor says tomorrow. I'm hoping they offer me the pill alongside it. The reason I opted for depo is because it stops the bleeding as my periods are really bad but this is worse!! With the size of the clots I thought I might have been having a miscarriage but I don't think it's possible. Really hoping they can sort it, it's really getting me down now

I had the depo injection and bled for three months 😳
